Tridib Roy takes charge & Jyotirmoy Daimary to take charge of Hailakandi & Lala Municipal Boards respectively

April 3: Consequent upon the completion of five-year term of Lala Municipal Board and Hailakandi Municipal Board in Hailakandi district, the Deputy Commissioner in an order entrusted the charge of these two urban local bodies to two bureaucrats.

Tridib Roy, Circle Officer of Hailakandi Revenue Circle was entrusted the charge of Executive Officer of Hailakandi Municipal Board. Jyotirmoy Daimary, Sub-Divisional Officer (S), Hailakandi was asked to shoulder the post of Executive Officer of Lala Municipal Board.

As per the order issued by Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi, the Chairman of Hailakandi Municipal Board handed over the charge to Tridib Roy on 3 April. On assuming charge, Tridib Roy said, “i have taken over the charge of Hailakandi Municipal Board from its Chairperson. I thank all the ex-Ward Commissioners for the cooperation and support they have extended to the administration during their tenure.”

It was further notified by the Deputy Commissioner that Jyotirmoy Daimary will assume charge as the Executive Officer of Lala Municipal Board on 4 April, 2020.
