Corona positive woman in Manipur showing signs of recovery

March 28: The 23-year-old girl from Imphal West district in Manipur, who tested positive for coronavirus on 24 March, is showing signs of improvement. The womantested positive after returning from England recently. The patient, who is undergoing treatment at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) isolation ward, is feeling better now. She was the 1st corona positive case in Northeast India.

After State Government’s directive, some individuals who were her co-passengers have voluntarily come forward to stay at quarantine centres set up by the State Government. State Health Directorate official said around 190 individuals were lodged at the quarantine centres.
