#IndiaSupportsCAA Campaign launched by PM Modi on NaMo App

December 30: The official twitter handle of PM Modi’s app and website tweeted, “#IndiaSupportsCAA because CAA is about giving citizenship to persecuted refugees and not about taking anyone’s citizenship away.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 30 December, launched a Twitter campaign in support of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. The tweet urged citizens to refer to the NaMo mobile app for further information and to extend their support to the law.
