2 arrested for involvement in violence outside Baksa jail

way2barak October 17: Two individuals have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the outside the district jail in Baksa that turned violent, said on Thursday. The protest came after the five persons accused in were taken to the prison on Wednesday.

Police have also identified seven more involved in the incident.

The CM in a post-cabinet briefing said one Ahela Miya, who is a ‘D’ voter and has a case against him pending in the tribunal, and one Romiz Ali have been arrested so far in connection with the case.
