One arrested with 4.7kg heroin worth ₹24 crore in Cachar

Way2barak, February 23 : Based on a credible intelligence Cachar Police has conducted a special operation on friday in the wee hours against the transportation of narcotic substances at Islamabad, Bagha Bazaar, Dholai and apprehended one suspect and recovered thirty (30) soap boxes and four (4) black leather bags containing suspected to be heroine weighing approximately 4.765 kilograms from his possession. The apprehended accused persons is Md Abdul Hussain Laskar, 35 yrs S/O Lt Mokoi Mia Vill-Islamabad PS  Dholai Dist Cachar. The price of the narcotics substance in the black market is about 24 (twenty four) crores.
