CM Assam hold daylong meeting with DCs & SPs, discusses important issues

way2barak, Nov.2: Administrative efficiency is the key to ensuring delivery of public services. As a part of this, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma held a daylong meeting with Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and Superintendents of Police (SPs) at Assam Administrative Staff College on Wednesday to deliberate on effective governance, law & order and implementation of various welfare schemes.

Some of the most important issues discussed during the daylong meeting are the series of events planned for 400th birth year celebrations of Lachit Barphukan. He also deliberated on Mission Basundhara 2.0, Mission Bhumiputra and land acquirement for constructing National Highways.
