Fire breaks out in a rubber factory at Patharkandi

way2barak, Oct.22: In a tragic incident, a major fire broke out in a rubber factory at a place called Medhli Sephenjhuri under Patharkandi constituency of Karimganj district. The incident occurred on Saturday night. Local people initially tried to douse the flames. However, soon, fire tenders rushed too reached the spot. The exact cause of the fire could not be ascertained till the filing of this report as more details are still awaited. However, as per estimate of the local populace, the loss incurred would be a huge one.
