Silchar- Badarpur section of NH 53 at Panchgram closed for all types of heavy vehicles: PWD

May 19: Due to over-topped and submergence of NH-53 (Silchar- Badarpur section) at Panchgram Sinking Zone area (29th km) by flood water being in-fluxed from river Barak, this NH-53 is closed for all types of heavy vehicles at both ends of the Sinking Zone area (29 km) with immediate effect until further order. This was stated in an order issued by Executive Engineer PWD, NH Division, Silchar on 19 May, 2022.
