Karimganj Police recovers 2,360 kg of ganja at Churaibari border

Jan. 30: In continuation of its war against drugs, Karimganj Police on Sunday recovered a huge consignment of almost 2,360 kg of ganja. The consignment of ganja was recovered at Churaibari border. 2 persons have been arrested and investigation started. Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma complimented Assam Police for its continued efforts in eradicating the drug menace.

Taking to his twitter handle, CM Dr Sarma wrote, “A huge consignment of approximately 2,360 kg of ganja has been recovered at Churaibari border of a neighbouring state by Karimganj police. Compliments to Assam  police for its continued efforts in eradicating the drug menace. Keep it up.”
