27 found Covid+ve in Karimganj & 18 Hailakandi on Saturday

Jan. 29: On Saturday, Hailakandi registered 18 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether has 181 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 761 RAT tests and 23 RT-PCR tests were done. 46 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 9,215 (1st, 2nd & 3rd wave).

As of now, a total of 5,507 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 15 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. Till date, 55 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,251 persons were vaccinated on Saturday.

Karimganj registered 27 fresh COVID case on Saturday. The district has currently 387 active COVID cases, while 32 patients were discharged on Saturday. 651 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 43 persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Friday.
