Cabinet approves appointment of 1,500 posts in colleges, recruitment to start soon: Ranoj Pegu

Jan. 12: The Assam Cabinet on Wednesday accorded approval to a total of 1,400 posts in the colleges of Assam, which includes 743 posts of Assistant Professors in the colleges under the Department of Higher Education, 233 and 524 posts in the third and fourth classes respectively. This was informed by state Education Minister, Dr Ranoj Pegu. He further stated that the recruitment process will be started soon to fill these posts.
