Covin vaccine to be given at 6 centres for 18+, 3 for 15-18 & 5 centres for 60+ & Health workers in Silchar on 12,13 Jan

Jan. 11: District Health Department of Cachar has notified vaccination schedule for three groups of people, who will be administered the jab on 12 and 13 January, 2022. These three groups are:

B. Booster dose for senior citizens with comorbidity & health care workers for Silchar Urban area on 12 & 13 January will be provided at 5 centres: (Total 1,250 doses)

• Surja Kumar LP School: Booster dose Covishield (150 shots) and booster dose Covaxin (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. 
• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Booster dose Covishield (150 shots) and booster dose Covaxin (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration.
• Durga ShankarPatshala: Booster dose Covishield (150 shots) and booster dose Covaxin (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration.
• Police Reserve, Jail Road (only on 12 Jan): Booster dose Covishield (150 shots) and booster dose Covaxin (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration.
• Red Cross, Silchar: Booster dose Covishield (150 shots) and booster dose Covaxin (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration.

B. Covid vaccination for 18+ population of Silchar Urban area on 12 & 13 January will be provided at 6 centres: (Total 1,000 + 100=1,100 doses)

• Surja Kumar LP School, Tarapur: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 12 to 13 January.
• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 12 to 13 January.
• Dr BC RoyMemorial School: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 12 to 13 January.
• Malugram Girls’ High School: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 12 to 13 January.
• Nazirpatty Model School: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 12 to 13 January.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration from 12 to 13 January.

C. Covid vaccination for those between 15 to 18 years of Silchar Urban area on 12 & 13 January will be provided at 3 centres: (Total 900 doses Covaxin)

• Holy Cross Sr Sc School, Silchar: Covaxin (500 shots) will be administered in this centre from 12 to 13 January.
• Red Cross, Park Road: Covaxin (500 shots) will be administered in this centre from 12 to 13 January.
• Durga ShankarPatshala: Covaxin (200 shots) will be administered in this centre from 12 to 13 January.
