150 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Saturday, 102 discharged & 1 death registered

Jan 1: On Saturday, out of 19,602 tests, 150 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,20,915. The positivity rate in the state is 0.77 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 76 positive cases during the day. Further, on Saturday, 01 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,165. The recovery rate is 98.64 percent. Also, 102 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 918 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Friday, 192 persons tested positive in Assam and no deaths were registered.
