Pradhan Achayadeva of SATSANG Sree Sree Asoke Chakravarty passes away

Dec. 16: Sree Sree Asoke Chakravarty, the Pradhan Achayadeva of SATSANG passed away on Thursday. He is  popularly known among innumerable devotees & admirers of Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra as Parama Pujyapada ‘Sree Sree Dada’. The Pradhan Achayadeva of SATSANG was undergoing treatment since last 2 months at Mission Hospital, Durgapur and breathed his last at around 9.42 am on 16 December, 2021. In the presence of multitude of devotees, ‘Sree Sree Dada’s’ last rites were performed at Dakshin Durgapur Satsang Mandir premises.

Expressing grief, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated, “Acharyadev Ashok Ranjan Chakroborty of the Satsang Ashram, Deoghar, will always be remembered for his selfless service to society. He was passionate about education, healthcare, social justice and empowerment. In this tragic hour, my thoughts are with all his devotees. Om Shanti.”

Taking to his twitter handle, Keshab Mahanta, Health Minister of Assam wrote, “Extremely saddened to learn about the demise of Sree Sree Asoke Chakravarty, the Pradhan Acharyadeva of SATSANG. Deepest condolences to his innumerable devotees and admirers. Om Shanti.”
