Cachar police recovers 85 bags of betel nut & 39,600 Yaba tablets in Silchar

Nov. 30: Illegal betel nut trade sometimes alleged to be the handiwork of syndicate partners seems to be active in Barak Valley. On Monday night, acting on a secret information, police force from Rangirkhari outpost detained a truck and recovered 85 bags betel nut. Apart from betel nuts, 39,600 Yaba tablets were also seized. Police informed that necessary legal action is being taken.
