Neurosurgeon Dr. Sambuddha Dhar to attend OPD twice a week at SMCH from 2 Nov
Oct. 25: Fulfilling the long standing demand of the people, the state government appointed Neurosurgeon Dr. Sambuddha Dhar in Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). Dr Dhar joined in his new assignment as Consultant on 22 October, 2021. In a press release issued by SMCH on Monday, it was stated that Dr. Sambuddha Dhar, MS, MCH, will attend Neurosurgery OPD two days in a week (Tuesday & Thursday).
It was also informed that one Neurosurgery unit has been constituted in SMCH with the following doctors:
- Professor In-Charge: Dr. Bishnu Pinak NG
- Consultant: Dr. Sambuddha Dhar
- Senior Resident: Dr. Biswajit Deb Nath
- Post Graduate Students of Surgery Department.
Dr. Sambuddha Dhar will perform Neurosurgery related elective operation on Monday & Tuesday. Apart from this, he will attend Neurosurgery related emergency services 24×7. Besides this, he will attend Wards, Clinics and Academics on Wednesday & Saturday.
For any Neurosurgery related patient consultation, SMCH authorities asked to contact Neurosurgery OPD on Tuesday & Friday before 10 AM for registration. The OPD service will come into force on 2 November, 2021.
