5 detected Covid +ve till 6 PM in Cachar on Tuesday

Sept 15: A total of 06 new cases of COVID-19 was reported till 6 PM on Wednesday in Cachar. The number of positive cases is expected to rise towards the night. During the day, 3,001 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done in which 05 persons were found positive, whereas 01 of them was found positive in RT-PCR test. It needs mention here that 13 persons were detected Covid-19 positive on Tuesday.

The Covid-19 situation in gradually is gradually improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 14 September to 5 PM on 15 September) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Wednesday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 15 September, there were 22 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, no patients were put under ventilator support but 03 were in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 06 Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and 09 of them were discharged.
