91 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 220 discharged & 1 death registered

Nov. 21: On Sunday, out of 14,759 tests, 238 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,15,382. The positivity rate in the state is 0.62 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 52 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 01 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,072. The recovery rate is 98.53 percent. Also, 220 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,626 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 238 persons tested positive in Assam and 05 deaths were registered.
