Assam registers 6 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Friday, tally rises to 175

August 14: On Friday, Assam registered 6 more COVID-19 positive cases. The deceased were identified as Rahamot Ali Choudhury (45) of Hailakandi; Abdul Barik (38) of Kamrup Metro; Benjamin Terang (56) of Karbi Anglong; Osman Ali (56),  Renuka Bora (81) of Kamrup Rural; Abdul Rahim (72) of Goalpara. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday night. With this, the death tally of the state has gone upto 175.
