84 fresh Covid-19 +ve cases detected in Cachar till 7 PM on Wednesday

April 28: A total of 84 new cases of COVID-19 was reported till 7 PM on Wednesday in Cachar. The number of positive cases is expected to rise towards the night. During the day, 61 persons were found positive in Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT), whereas 23 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Suman Choudhury, District Media Expert on Wednesday evening. Further, during the day, 417 air passengers were tested at Tikal Model Hospital, out of which 24 were detected as positive.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, the total positive cases in the district was 115.
