BJP appoints state in-charges; Biplab Deb made Prabhari in Haryana, Sambit Patra for NE states Patra

way2barak, Sept.9: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a statement issued on Friday, appointed in-charges of the party in different states. Former Chief Minister of Tripura who was replaced by Manik Saha has now been made Prabhari (in-charge) of Haryana. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has been appointed as a coordinator for northeastern states and the party’s national secretary Rituraj Sinha will be a joint coordinator. Dr Mahesh Sharma (MP) has been appointed as the new Prabhari of Tripura.

Taking to Twitter, Deb said, “Under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and under the chairmanship of national president Shri @JPNadda ji, we will work unitedly to further strengthen the party in Haryana as team BJP.”

The party also named its general secretary Vinod Tawde as its new in-charge for Bihar and former Bihar minister Mangal Pandey for West Bengal. Amit Malaviya and Asha Lakhra were appointed as ‘Saha Prabhari’ in West Bengal.

Former Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani was made the Prabhari of Punjab, whereas, Dr Narinder Singh Raina was made his deputy. P. Muralidhar Rao and Om Mathur were appointed as Prabhari’s of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh respectively. Former Minister Prakash Javedkar was entrusted the responsibility of Kerala, while Radhamohan Jha was made the Prabhari of Lakshadweep. BJP named Tarun Chugh and Arun Singh as in-charges of Telengana and Rajasthan respectively.
