77 fresh Covid-19 +ve cases detected in Cachar till 7 PM on Thursday

April 29: A total of 77 new cases of COVID-19 was reported till 7 PM on Thursday in Cachar. The number of positive cases is expected to rise towards the night. During the day, 70 persons were found positive in Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT), whereas 07 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Suman Choudhury, District Media Expert on Thursday evening. Further, during the day, 213 air passengers were tested at Tikal Model Hospital, out of which 07 were detected as positive. It needs mention here that on Wednesday, 119 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar.

It was further informed that in place of SM Dev Civil Hospital, the vaccination will now be done at Durga Shankar Patshala, Ambicapatty from 30 April, 2021.
