76 tests +ve in Assam on Wednesday; 115 patients discharged
Active cases 3,258 in Assam
Dec. 30: On Wednesday, out of 25,498 tests, 76 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,16,139 out of which, 3,258 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.30 percent.
On Wednesday, 115 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,11,835 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 03 patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 1043.
