755 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Saturday, 11 deaths registered

Aug 14: On Saturday, out of 1,07,473 tests, 755 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,79,488. The positivity rate in the state is 0.70 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 124 positive cases during the day. Further, on Saturday, 11 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,482. The recovery rate is 97.37 percent.

It needs mention here that on Friday, 763 persons tested positive in Assam and 20 deaths were registered.
