7 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Sunday, 4 discharged

Aug 8: Hailakandi registered 07 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Of the 07 positive cases detected on Sunday, all of them was found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 55 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 4,353 RAT tests and 525 RT-PCR tests were done. 04 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,831 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,353 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 2 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.
