Prisoners of Hailakandi Jail to now get video calling facility

April 7: A video calling facility was introduced in Hailakandi District Jail for the prisoners to talk with their family members or advocates who are unable to visit them due to the nationwide lockdown, which was declared to contain the outbreak of coronavirus. Those willing to talk with any prisoner at Hailakandi Jail may call 9435221153. It was further urged to use this facility judiciously. This facility will be available only during the office hours.
