68 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Sunday, 98 discharged

June 6: Hailakandi registered 68 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Of the 68 positive cases detected on Sunday, 56 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 12 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 1,281 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,734 RAT tests and 122 RT-PCR tests were done. 98 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 6,739. As of now, 2,134 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 62 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday.

As of now, in the 56,819 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine (irrespective of age), whereas, 16,765 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
