65 students from a college in Karnataka test Covid-19 positive on Thursday

Sept 2: In an incident of serious concern, more than 65 students have tested Covid-19 positive in a college in  Karnataka’s Kolar district. This was informed by the State Health Minister, K Sudhakar on Thursday. On Wednesday, Karnataka issued new Covid guidelines for students and employers coming to the state from kerala, making RT-PCR test and 7-day quarantine mandatory, regardless of the vaccination status. At present, there are 18,438 active Covid-19 cases in the state.
