6 more test COVID-19 positive in Shillong
April 15: Meghalaya had detected the 1st first coronavirus positive case on 13 April. However, he passed away at 2:45 am on April 15. The 69 years old deceased was a doctor and the owner of Bethany Hospital of Shillong. In this connection, 68 persons were tested so far. Out of these 68, six of them were tested corona positive. All who were tested positive are family members and helpers of the deceased first coronavirus patient of the state. The Chief Minister tweeted this information at 10.17 AM on Wednesday.
Of the 68 tested so far, 6 have come out positive who are all family members & helpers of the first #Covid19 positive case.
6 other cases are being retested.
All the rest of the cases are negative.

In a tweet, Conrad Sangma, Chief Minister of Meghalaya wrote, “Of the 68 tested so far, 6 have come out positive who are all family members & helpers of the first #Covid19 positive case. 6 other cases are being retested. All the rest of the cases are negative.”
Bethany Hospital in both Shillong and Nongpoh have been sealed. Primary contacts of the deceased doctor and list of the secondary contacts is being compiled. This was informed in another tweet by the state Chief Minister.
