1332 patients discharged in Assam on Thursday

August 6: On Thursday, 1332 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam. With this, a total of 37,224 persons were discharged till now. Further, on Thursday, another 2372 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in the state. At present, there are 15,464 active cases in Assam. Apart from this, 5 more persons lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Assam, thereby taking the death tally of the state to 126. In a tweet, State health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1332 patients have been discharged today. More than thousand recoveries in a day again! Great job, team doctors.”
