Vaccine out of stock: No vaccination in Silchar on Sunday

ওয়েটুবরাক, ২৪ জুলাই : ফের ফুরিয়ে গিয়েছে কোভিড ভ্যাকসিনের মজুত৷ তাই রবিবার শিলচর শহরের কোনও কেন্দ্রে কোভিড ভ্যাকসিন দেওয়া হবে না। স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, সোমবারে ভ্যাকসিন দেওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে ।

July 24: There seems to be great disparity between the demand and supply of Covid-19 vaccine in Assam. Off and on, people are seem to wait in long queues in the hope of getting the jab, but at the end of the day many have to return without getting vaccinated due to the paucity in supply of the vaccines. In Silchar too, there has been crisis of vaccine.

Urban Welfare Officer, Silchar, Dr Rima Patao informed on Saturday that there will not be any vaccination drive in Silchar on 25 July. She further added that the process of administering vaccines will resume after stocks are made available. It was further informed that subject to availability, vaccine may be administered in Silchar town on Monday.
