313 tests +ve in Assam on Thursday; 761 patients discharged
Active cases 7,662 in Assam
Nov. 5: On Thursday, out of 27,959 tests only 313 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,08,054 out of which, 7,662 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 1,12 percent.
On Thursday, 761 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,99,455 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, none in the state died due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 934.
