31 found Covid +ve in Cachar on Friday, 130 active cases in the district

July 22: The District Health Department updated the Covid-19 data of Friday. As per the latest data, 31 persons (05 RT-PCR & 26 RAT) were found positive in the district on 22 July, 2022. At present, 128 positive patients in the district have opted for home isolation & 02 have taken admission in hospitals. Further, 34 persons were discharged during the day.

As per the updated data, a total of 207 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 26 persons were found positive, whereas 05 were detected positive out of 17 RT-PCR Tests. With this, the total number of active Covid cases stands at 130. It needs mention here that on Thursday, 26 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar district.

During this phase (1 July, 2022 onwards) till now 290 positive cases were detected and 125 were discharged in the district of Cachar. During this phase, 01 death was registered. The deceased, a resident of Silchar died at GNRC, Guwahati.

District Administration Cachar in a message stated, “Public is requested to adhere to all COVID 19 protocols and keep themselves safe, as CoVID 19 cases have started creeping up again.”
