3 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Wednesday, 5 discharged

Aug 4: Hailakandi registered 03 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. Of the 03 positive cases detected on Wednesday, 01 of them was found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 02 persons were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 56 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,119 RAT tests and 139 RT-PCR tests were done. 05 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,809 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,329 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 03 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 50 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. During the day, 1,317 persons were vaccinated in the district.
