২১ মে: বৃহস্পতিবার প্রথম বেলাতেই করোনা সংক্রমণ বৃদ্ধির খবর আসছে৷ এ দিন এ পর্যন্ত তিনজন  আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন৷ তিনজনেরই বাড়ি কোকরাঝাড় জেলায়৷ বরপেটা মেডিক্যাল কলেজে তাদের লালারসের নমুনার পরীক্ষা হয়৷ প্রথমে সকাল ৯ টা ২০ মিনিটে স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী ড. হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মা টুইট করেন, কোকরাঝাড়ের একজনের শরীরে সংক্রমণ ধরা পড়েছে৷ পরে বেলা ১২টা ২০ মিনিটে আরও দুইজনের আক্রান্ত হওয়ার খবর দেন৷ তিনজনই কোকরাঝাড়ে কোয়রান্টাইন সেন্টারে ছিলেন৷ রাজ্যে আক্রান্তের মোট সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ১৯১৷

May 21: Three more cases of coronavirus were reported from Assam on Thursday. One new COVID-19 positive case was confirmed at Barpeta Medical College, where the tests were done. The patient is at Kokrajhar Quarantine Centre. Whereas, another two persons at Kokrajhar Quarantine Center tested & confirmed COVID-19 positive.  This takes the total COVID-19 cases in Assam to 191. Out of them, 48 already recovered, 04 died, whereas 03 were migrated. That means, at present, there are 136 active cases in the state.
