রাজধানী এক্সপ্রেস থেকে ২৫ কেজি গাঁজা উদ্ধার
25 kg Ganja seized from Rajdhani Express, 1 arrested

১৫ ডিসেম্বর : ফের রেল পুলিশ ২৫ কিলোগ্রাম গাঁজা উদ্ধার করল রাজধানী এক্সপ্রেস থেকে। শনিবার গুয়াহাটি রেল স্টেশনে রুটিন তল্লাশির সময় ২০৫০৫ ডাউন রাজধানী এক্সপ্রেস থেকে এই গাঁজা উদ্ধার হয়। এই অবৈধ সামগ্রী উদ্ধারের সময় পুলিশ এক ব্যক্তিকে আটক করেছে।

পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, বিহারের ভোজপুর জেলার বিবিগঞ্জ গ্রামের জনৈক নগেন সিংয়ের ছেলে ৪৩ বছর বয়সী পাপু সিং এই গাঁজাগুলো ডিমাপুর থেকে নিয়ে যাচ্ছিল। এগুলো তার বিহারের আরহতে নিয়ে যাওয়ার কথা ছিল। পুলিশ এ ব্যাপারে একটি মামলা নথিভুক্ত করেছে। খুব শীঘ্রই বিষয়টি তদন্ত করে দেখা হবে।

December 15: Around 25 kgs of ganja (marijuana) was seized by the Government Railway Police (GRP) from a coach of down Rajdhani Express (Train No 20505 ) at Guwahati Railway Station (Coach No. A/ 3) during routine search on Saturday. In this connection, one person was also arrested by GRF for possessing the illegal item.

The accused, Pappu Singh, aged 43 years and son of Nagen Singh of Bibiganj village in Bhojpur district of Bihar brought the suspected ganja from Dimapur and supposed to be delivered at Arah in Bihar. In this connection a case has been registered under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS) Act and is being investigated.
