3,299 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 4,045 patients discharged & 48 deaths registered

May 9: On Sunday, out of 36,135 tests, 3,99 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,92,368. The positivity rate in the state is 9.13 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 1,346 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 48 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 1,676.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 5,756 persons tested positive in Assam and 50 deaths were registered.
