230000 Yaba tablets recovered in Lakhipur, one arrested

way2barak, September 8: Based on source input, an anti narcotics operation was conducted by cachar police at Shivpur under Lakhipur PS. One truck was intercepted bearing Reg. No- AS 26AC 1763 and led to recovery of 230000 Yaba tablets (25 kgs methapathamine )from the secret chamber of the truck.

One person was apprehended in this regard namely Sahir Hussain Choudhary  resident of Gobindapur pt-II.

Police informed Legal action initiated to find out the forward and backward linkages.
