23 students of Silchar Collegiate School secured state highest marks in HSLC Exam 2022
June 7: The results of HSLC Examination, 2022 was declared on 7 June. This year, only one student from Barak Valley (Biswadip Nath of Holy Cross HS School- 10th) could secure a position among the top ten places. However, many other schools performed well in the HSLC Exam this year. Reputed for its brilliant performance, students of Silchar Collegiate School also came out successful in HSLC Exam 2022 with flying colours.
This year too, Silchar Collegiate School could carve a niche for itself in the HSLC Examination. A total of 161 students appeared this year in HSLC from Collegiate School. Out of the 161 students, 140 passed in 1st division, whereas, 20 came out successful in second division. Only one student failed. A total of 23 students of Silchar Collegiate School secured state highest marks (15 in Adv Maths, 6 in Gen Maths & 2 in Computer Science) in HSLC Exam 2022.

It needs mention here that a total of 55 students could make their place in the top 10 positions this year. Raktotpal Saikia of St Mary’s High School, North Lakhimpur secured 597 marks and bagged the first position. Bhuyashi Medhi of Little Flowers School, Nalbari stood 2nd with 596 marks, whereas, the third position was secured by three students who got 595 marks: Mridupawan Kalita (Don Bosco High School, Kheroni), Labeeb Muzib (Don Bosco HS School, Boiragimath) and Partha Pratim Das (Lohit Dikrong HS Bihpuria).
The overall pass percentage this year in the state is 56.49, out of which, 43.03% students passed in Cachar, 48.89 in Hailakandi and 47.20% students passed in Karimganj.
