2 found Covid +ve in Assam on Wednesday; active cases 6 in the state

April. 20: On Wednesday, out of 389 tests, no person was detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,24,204. The positivity rate in the state is 0.51 percent. Kamrup district recorded 01 new positive case and Nagaon registered 01 during the day. Further, on Wednesday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,639. The recovery rate is 98.90 percent. No persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 06 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 02 tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
