2 Covid+ve in Karimganj & none in Hailakandi on Wednesday

Nov. 24: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Wednesday too, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 04 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 411 RAT tests and 49 RT-PCR tests were done. 01 patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,922 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,491 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none were found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 2,741 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday.

Karimganj registered 02 fresh COVID cases on Wednesday. The district has currently 11 active COVID cases, while no patients were discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Wednesday. 695 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 03 persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Tuesday.
