186 tests +ve in Assam on Monday; 405 patients discharged

Nov. 16: On Monday, out of 19,372 tests only 186 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,10,454 out of which, 3,446 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.96 percent.

On Monday, 405 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,06,041 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Further, during the day, 01 more patient died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 964.
