173 tests +ve in Assam on Wednesday; 138 patients discharged
Active cases 3,519in Assam
Dec. 2: On Wednesday, out of 25,891 tests 173 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,13,171 out of which, 3,519 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.67 percent.
On Wednesday, 138 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,08,666 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 983.
