164 tests +ve in Assam on Friday; 151 patients discharged
Active cases 3,204 in Assam
Nov. 20: On Friday, out of 18,270 tests only 164 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,11,204 out of which, 3,193 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.90 percent.
On Friday, 151 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,07,026 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 971.
