157 tests +ve in Assam on Tuesday; 121 patients discharged
Active cases 3,214 in Assam
Nov. 24: On Tuesday, out of 21,772 tests 157 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,11,839 out of which, 3,214 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.72 percent.
On Tuesday, 121 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,07,646 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 01 more patient died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 976.
