146 tests +ve in Assam on Wednesday; 178 patients discharged
Active cases 3,542 in Assam
Dec. 9: On Wednesday, out of 28,896 tests, 146 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,14,165 out of which, 3,542 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.51 percent.
On Wednesday, 178 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,09,622 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 01 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 998.
