1441 persons discharged in Assam on Friday
Oct. 2: On Friday, 1441 persons were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,48,960 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged in the state. At present, there are 34,128 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1441 patients discharged today. 81% of the total patients have been discharged and sent to their families so far. Great job Team Medical.”
On Friday, 1416 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now reached 1,83,812. Further, during the day, 10 more persons lost their lives due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 721
