Assam registers 4 more COVID-19 deaths on Thursday, tally rises to 278

August 27: On Thursday, 4 more deaths were reported from across Assam. With this, the death toll due to coronavirus in the state has reached 278. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday night. the deceased were identified as:

• Saraswati Nath (56) from Baksa
• Arabinda Medhi (65) from Dibrugarh
• Hasan Ali (59) from Darrang
• Dhaneswar Talukdar (46) from Kamrup Metro
