12 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Thursday, 09 discharged

July 8: Hailakandi registered 12 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Of the 12 positive cases detected on Wednesday, 11 of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 01 person was detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 106 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,293 RAT tests and 321 RT-PCR tests were done. 09 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,587 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,059 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 13 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Wednesday. Till date 47 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, 1,64,279 persons (1st dose 1,38,792 1st dose & 2nd dose 25,487) were administered Covid-19 vaccine.
