119 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Saturday, 167 discharged & 4 deaths registered

Dec. 18: On Saturday, out of 27,581 tests, 119 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,19,417. The positivity rate in the state is 0.43 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 61 positive cases during the day. Further, on Saturday, 04 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,145. The recovery rate is 98.62 percent. Also, 167 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,042 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Friday, 130 persons tested positive in Assam and no deaths were registered.
